That is how important you are

Please go outside on a clear night and watch the starry sky. The thousands of stars you can then see with just your eyes, are merely a tiny fraction of the stars that are there. A billion galaxies, each being island worlds that consist of billions of stars have been spotted with the most powerful telescopes. But even more awesome than that is the infinity of the space itself, the depth and silence that give room to all that splendour. Nothing can be more awesome and majestic than the unimaginable size and silence of the universe, but what is it? Emptiness, enormous emptiness. What seems like new in the universe to our rational senses is the incorporation of the unmanifested self.

It is the ‘body’ of God. And the greatest miracle is this: that silence and vastness by which the universe can be there, is not just in the universe, it is in yoú as well. When you’re entirely and totally present, it will come to you as the silent inner space of non-thinking. In you is the vastness in the depth instead of in the dimension. Spacial vastness in the end is no more than a misunderstood endless depth – a characteristic of the one and only transcendent reality. (….)
What you see on the outside as space and time is an illusion in the deepest way, (….).
God has two main properties. Endlessness and eternity, but seen as if they were leading their own existence outside of you. Within you space and time have an inner
equivalent that reveals theír true nature, but also yours.

While the space is the silent, endlessly deep realm of non-thinking, the inner
equivalent of time is: presence, being conscious of the eternal NOW. Remember that there is no difference between those two. When space and time are being realized inside of you as the Unmanifested (non-thinking and presence) the outer space and time stay in existence for you, but they become less important. The world will stay as well, but she does not bind you anymore. That is why the final purpose of the world is not in the world, but in lifting yourself up from the world. Just like you would not be conscious of the space if their where no things in that space, you need the world to realize the Unmanifested. Maybe you know the following Budhist saying: ‘If there was no illusion, their was no enlightment.’ Because of the world and in the end because of you the Unmanifested can know itself. You are here so that the Godly purpose of the universe can unfold itself. That is how important you are.
