Dragon night

| I am 9999 years of age, but actually not long ago I became only two, but that is quite another story. Today I want to tell you about my friends, being the dragons and the elves of our magical forest . Every year, on the 24th of December, when you human children are gathered around the Christmas tree opening your presents, also the large dragon family from our mysterious magical forest comes together to celebrate. We all tell stories about the thrilling events that happened in our world. And we laugh and jump and are merry because it is all funny when listening to the exiting adventures of our kind of people. GRANDAD dragon then always talks with smoking tongue, how he became wounded by a heavy cross and how he was saved by a red snake. GRANNY dragon always sits in her favourite swing chair and warms her fat belly at the big hearth that is piercing like a volcano from the magical mountain and is puffing furiously so that Hansel and Gretel, who live nearby, always are thinking that this smoke is only a big cloud hiding in the mountain. And just now, while it is winter, it is so cold that the hearth is puffing terribly and the cloud very big. MUMMY and DADDY dragon are all the time busy in the rock kitchen watching the pineapple roast that is bubbling already for three hours at the spit and seems to be ready very soon. Everywhere it smells of cinnamon sticks and almond bread that lies everywhere just to be picked. NESSI, the water dragon sister, has taken
a bathtub and is busy with it in the kitchen to pick ice carrots out
of their pockets. That is because she needs them for her warm shower
head, so that she does not suddenly burst into flame. IMIX lies with its horns forward and CABAN tries once and again to swing and cannot wait until Mummy will be ready and comes to the dining room with the lovely roast and therefore she is a little bit uneasy and irritated. They all are especially looking forward to the delicious cream cattle sauce that can be prepared only by Mummy dragon in the way it tastes best. IK, the feathered dragon brother just gets new blue feathers and has taken up his former feather wear in order to decorate a corner of the dwelling, just like GAURA, the wonderful ruby dragon who once was magically modified into a rock. MULUC is dreaming at the window of the living room and is talking confidentially with his lady moon friend LUNA, whom he during the last full moon asked to be his wife because he loves her so much. Very amazed, Luna asked him if he would not love her as well, because then they could become the best spouses, because in that way he would always be certain that she would love him incomparably if he would nòt take her as a wife. Since then Muluc was all the more in love and could not think about anyone else than his beloved friend. ETZNAB, the white mirror dragon sister, just called and said she would be late, because she was asked by the dwarfs to help them with their preparations for Christmas. The small dwarfs always have much difficulty fastening the gobstoppers to their houses. Etznab, likes those chores and therefore she is always happy to help them out. KIB, the passionate friend of humans announced already last week that he wasn’t able to come because his brave knight friend had prepared a swell Christmas party and would be very disappointed if his best dragon friend would not be present. SAMIR, the emerald dragon just arrived with his enchanted princess and is knocking the door, while EB with a powerful chime in his voice announces that the pineapple roast is ready and would the family please come to be present at the table. CIMI, the world fairy is helping mummy to carry the heavy dishes and decanters to the dining room and now seats herself next to IMIX, her absolutely best spouse, to say a table prayer. They are all very hungry and attack the pineapple as is they didn’t have anything to eat for a year. It all smells so delicious that it makes the mouths water of the diligent squirrels in the next door tree. They are all smacking and grumbling because it is very much to their liking and now and then you can hear someone passing a bit of wind, but everybody knows immediately who was the wrong-doer because the ears of the offender turn scarlet red. But then, everybody has big red ears and therefore it is not so very shocking and nobody seems embarrassed. And now they are all laughing a little bit and happily they are tucking into the food heartily. When everybody has eaten their fill, together they clear the table and Nessi, Gaura and Argor declare themselves prepared to do the dishes. Then at last it is time for the presents and each dragon child obtains a big pack of wishing peas that would be sufficient to last for the coming year. Finally mummy prepares delicious chocolate milk and now they are cosily sitting around the hearth and tell each other exciting fairy tales until they are so very tired at last that they cuddle together and submerge in a sound sleep. From time to time soft laughing can be
heard when they are in their dreams playing in their new adventures
and during the entire night Luna plays with Muluc the game of the
loved ones until the moon sets itself for the sun and eventually a
new happy day is born. | ||
