De Hopi Blauwe Ster of
Blauwe Kachina Voorspelling.
Een klassieke Hopi voorspelling zegt:
‘Wanneer de Blauwe Ster Kachina zich aan het firmament vertoont, zal
de Vijfde wereld te voorschijn komen.’ Dat zal de Dag der Loutering
zijn.
De Hopi naam van de ster Sirius is ‘Blauwe
Ster Kachina.’ Het zal komen wanneer de Saquasohuh (Blauwe Ster) op
het dorpsplein danst en zijn masker afdoet. Een Kachina is de geest
(de representant) van de onzichtbare krachten in het leven.

Star or Blue Kachina Prophecy.
An ancient Hopi Indian prophecy states,
‘When the Blue Star Kachina makes its appearance in the heavens, the
Fifth World will emerge'. This will be the Day of Purification.
The Hopi name for the star Sirius is Blue
Star Kachina. It will come when the Saquasohuh (Blue Star) Kachina
dances in the plaza and removes his mask. A Kachina is the spirit
of the invisible forces of life.
