Aspects of Faith Hope and Love
The Nada Chronicles, part 49 By Hans Brockhuis

During my search about the question what would be the essence of Love, I stumble upon a lot of pronouncements that always embody another aspect of Love. Love is a perception that tells you that you are here on earth and that your belief in the other has scored a peak appreciation. In the holy bible, Paul writes in 1
Corinthians 13: ‘If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but
have not love, I have become sounding brass or a tinkling symbol. Love is long suffering, love is kind,
it is not jealous, love does not boast, it is not inflated. Mario Mercier, in his wonderful serene book: ‘The book of angels”, [Le livre d’ange; Paris, Editions Seghers, 1994] relates love to inner joy. He asks his angel: “And by whom can this joy be preserved?” ”Through love!” is the answer. And: ”Love is a source of this inner joy, which is the sparkle of love…” But Love is more. Call it the essence of the wind, the beams of the sun, the being of the stars, of pure clearness, the core of the trees, of flowers, the heart of water, of fore, of earth, the centre of space, of life itself, but above all is Love Light! The Pleiadians, [Barbara Marciniak: Bringers of the Dawn: teachings from the Pleiadians, Santa Fé, Bear Publ., 1992] who bring us the new day, look at it from another angle: “There are those who live on the vibration of love. That group would like to reintroduce love as food on this planet. They would want to change this universe to a frequency of love, so that love gets a chance to spread itself and to fertilize other worlds.” Truly a noble ambition. Lady Nada, the one who always stands besides me so lovingly when a new Nada Chronicle is about to be published, says about this: “Let's open our Hearts in Love, in order to learn to love differences and open our world to Others and thus have the possibility to transform all nations to Unity in diversity.” The Koran changes the tack: ‘Allah certainly turned Himself with mercy towards the Prophet and to the Migrants and the Givers of Help, who followed this (prophet) in the hour of distress, after the hearts of some of them nearly yielded. Then He forgave them. For sure, He is Loving, Merciful towards them.’ Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
looks at it academically and characterizes Love as a word with several
different meanings in the English language, from something that
gives a little pleasure ("I loved that meal") to something
for which one would die (patriotism, pair-bonding). It can describe
an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state.
In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love. And what
is usually felt by a person for another person, and is usually impossible
to describe. Dictionaries tend to define love as deep affection
or fondness. In colloquial use, according to polled opinion, the
most favored definitions of love include the words: life - someone
or something for which you would give your life. care - someone
or something about which you care more than yourself. Friendship
- favored interpersonal associations or relationships. The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love, calling it a recently invented abstraction. However love is an emotion but what is emotion? Emotion is sensation or feeling that is brought about by thoughts or events, it can be pleasant, unpleasant or both. However this all depends on the individual, and their responses to outside actions. Thus leaving a scientific definition of love inconclusive, because there are too many variables in the equation. Moreover, approximately 13 percent of cultures reportedly have no word for love. Others maintain that love exists but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature, etc. Perhaps due to its emotional primacy, love is one of the most common themes in art. Our red tomcat, Jippie, walks over my keyboard now and writes his own story. By stroking his head against my hand he lets me know that his love for me is unconditional. He certainly does not need all those words. He loves, just like that, unconditionally. Running Fox wishes you faith in everything pertaining what’s manifesting itself, keep vivid your hope for the good cause and express your love towards yourself and others. In short, I wish you faith, hope and love. Running Fox | ||
