We, Mirjam and Stephan Coumans, welcome you from our hearts in the little village of Millen in Limburg Province, Belgium. Next to our mother tongue Dutch, we are fluent in English, French and German. Our Bed and Breakfast is radiation-free; no wireless DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Tele-communications)-telephone nor mobile phone in use, no radiation from internet or digital T.V., because these are connected with wires. We use 'green' electricity, of windmills only (Ecopower).
Possibilities for cycling, sailing, tracking, motor-, trike-, or pony-riding, (wine)castle-, cave- or museum-visits are all on cycling distance. Skiing and sleighing you can do in Ovifat, an hours drive away. In the evenings you can sit on the terrace, in the living or in the beautiful dining room, where you can also play a co-operative game. In the living you can watch digital TV, or read a good book.

Environment:
The house you will be staying in is a cosy English Cottage at 6 kilometers of Tongeren, with the biggest antique- and brocante market of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. It is situated close to the indoor pool with outdoor tanning meadow and the water castle 'Waterburcht' in Millen. The Dutch Maastricht at 15 kilometres and the Belgian cities of Bilzen, Luik and Hasselt are nearby as well.

Yachting Kanne is situated on the canal of King Albert (kilometer point 19.1) in a quiet green environment, between the Caestert plain and the watermill of Eben Emael. Surf- sail- and water scooter-spot Les Tchéroux is just a little further. On the old Meuse (Maas) river you can take an electrically driven boat at Maascentrum De Wissen, Maaspark, BE3650 Dilsen-Stokkem Tel + 32 (0)89 75 21 71. The new Meuse you can enter via Marina 't Bassin in Maastricht and Nautisch Centrum Pietersplas, Hoge Weerd 20 NL +31 (0)43 3671814 info@pietersplas.nl 6229 AM Maastricht (André Rieu lives next to it). The lakes have an open connection with the new Meuse. From the beach you have a great view on the Saint Pieters mountain.
Haspengouw cycling network:
Our radiation-free B & B is situated right on Haspengouw cycling network and at Ternaaijen you can take the cycle- and foot ferry across the Maas river to Eijsden in the Nederlands. It is situated at the tracking area Millen and Valmeer, with walks starting at the water castle, at cycling distance from the peace tower at Eben Eser.
